Over the past thirty years, Jeffrey K. Weiss has built major collections of the Seychelles; the Great Britain 1887 (Jubilee) issue; other Indian Ocean islands; the Britannias; and Fiume. His Seychelles collection was awarded an F.I.P. Gold Medal at Ilsapex '98 in Johannesburg; his Great Britain 1887 "Jubilee" collection received an F.I.P. Gold Medal at Capex 96. By invitation, he presented portions of his Seychelles collection at two of the Rare Stamps of the World shows in London (Claridge's): "Seychelles Stamps to 1902" and "Seychelles Postal History to 1890".
