Why can’t I hear the auction?
The Auction can only be heard through Internet Explorer.

If you are using Internet Explorer and still do not hear the sound, close Internet Explorer, re-open it and empty your cached files by going to the Internet Options choice on the Tools menu and clicking on the “Delete Files” button in the Temporary Internet Files section.

Go back to our website to log on again. A message may appear when you log on asking you to download Coretech webphone Active-X (this is the program that allows you to hear our auction). Please allow this download to continue to install itself on your computer (a yellow bar may appear at the top of your browser asking if you want to allow/accept this Active-X - allow this too).

When you click on the button that says “Listen” at the bottom of the screen you should hear the auctioneer.

I don’t see the bidding screen - I have a blank grey screen or I have several error messages (run time error, etc.).
Java is not installed as standard on computers running Windows XP and/or Internet Explorer. The simulator may work without the proper Java version. The Live bidding won’t.

To be sure you have the proper version of Java you need go to www.java.com, click on the “Download Now” button and follow the instructions until you get the message “Java Installed”.

I have forgotten my password.
Because our system is so highly encrypted, we cannot retrieve your password. However, we can change it. So please contact us by e-mail or phone and we will give you a new temporary password that you can use to log back on and which you can then change at any time by clicking on Modify your details.
